Professor Dr. Peifeng Li obtained his doctoral degree at the Chinese Academy of Medical Science. He worked as a medical researcher at the Max-Delbruck-Center for Molecular Medicine, Germany. He is currently the Dean of Institute of Translational Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Qingdao, China. His research focuses on the molecular regulation of cardiovascular diseases and cancers. He is one of the pioneer researchers in deciphering the role of microRNAs in heart diseases including cardiac hypertrophy, myocardial infarction and heart failure. He has published more than 200 papers in reputed journals and also presented his work at many national and international professional meetings. He is an associate editor of Frontiers in Physiology-Redox-Physiology, and Molecular Biotechnology. He has been a reviewer for more than 60 scientific journals.

Steven Pinker is an experimental cognitive psychologist and a popular writer on language, mind, and human nature. A native of Montreal, he earned his bachelor’s degree at McGill University in 1976, his Ph.D. from Harvard in 1979, and taught at Harvard, Stanford, and MIT before returning to Harvard in 2003. Pinker’s research on vision, language, and social relations has won prizes from the National Academy of Sciences, the Royal Institution of Great Britain, the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Psychological Science. He has also received eight honorary doctorates, several teaching awards at MIT and Harvard, and numerous prizes for his books The Language Instinct, How the Mind Works, The Blank Slate, The Better Angels of Our Nature, and The Sense of Style. Pinker is currently doing research on a diverse array of topics in psychology, including the role of common knowledge (where two or more people know that the others know what they know) in language and other social phenomena; historical and recent trends in violence and their explanation; the psycho-linguistics of good writing; the nature of the critical period for acquiring language; the neurobiology and genetics of language; and the nature of regular and irregular phenomena in grammar.

Seda KARAMAN is a lecturer at Ondokuz May University, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. She completed her master degree at Izmir Demokrasi University and she is studying for a doctorate at the Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University. She had worked as a physiotherapist at the pediatric rehabilitation department of the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Services for two years. She took place at several conferences and forums about Health Science and Health Care Services with her papers and oral presentations such as Investigation of Spinal Posture, Depression and Quality of Life of Formal Caregivers of Disabled Children and Elderly Individuals. She attended Intra-muscular Manual Therapy Dry Needling (Trigger Point Therapy) and Cupping and Hydrotherapy courses organized by AC-OMT and Dura Osteopathy Association. She received Space Therapy System Training in 2019. She has completed a course taught by a certified Basic DNA Theta Healing Instructor and has been a Basic DNA Theta Healing Practitioner since 2022. She currently attends vocational courses on physiotherapy and rehabilitation in women health such as Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Online Module Series By Quadro athletics-All About Pelvis Group.

My many clinical interests include anesthesia for neurosurgical patients including surgery for Parkinson's disease. I also enjoy taking care of patient who need spine surgery and abdominal surgery. I have had the opportunity of serving under privileged rural communities in my country Colombia. I am a passionate person. When I am taking care of a patient, I devote all my care, senses, knowledge and compassion and respect to them.I treat my patients as if they were members of my own family.

With more than 25 years in health as an academic, pathologist, researcher, and health manager around Australia, she has spent the previous three years as Monash University Director of Pathology. Ruth was responsible for the formation of the single-state pathology service by bringing together more than 1800 staff across 17 hospitals. Ruth was also responsible for major research initiatives including the formation of the Centre of Cancer Biology.

Jonica Kao, a 2018 Department of Nutrition Science (NUTR) alumna and PA student in the Stanford University School of Medicine, came to Purdue on the registered dietitian track. She heard about the PA career path from her academic advisor as a sophomore and decided to pursue it, but Nutrition Science also catered to becoming a PA.

Asma D.Zaidan is a senior medical student at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah-Saudi Arabia, where she has been one of the top 10 excellence students for six consecutive years. She is a Member of Saudi Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has extensive training experience in the Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to many researches about episiotomy and placenta Previa. Her recent activities include an awareness public health campaign to correct common false beliefs and misconception regarding different Obstetrics and gynecology situations and diseases, Obstetrics and gynecology workshops and simulation for undergraduate students. She was born in 1994 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She still lives in Jeddah. She is interested in the Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty and is trying to learn more about the specialty, as well as to do more researches and to boost the awareness regarding different Obstetrics and gynecology situations and diseases.
